Sainik School Chittorgarh (Raj.) is one of the first five Sainik Schools eshtablished by the 'Sainik Schools Society' (Ministry of Defence) on 7th Aug 1961. The Foundation Stone was laid by His Royal Highness, Brigadier Shankara Menon (Founder Principal).

In its Glorious existence of over 50 years, it has produced more than 500 officers for Armed Forces through NDA alone. Besides this, a large number. of ex-students have joined the Armed Forces through IMA, OTA, Air Force & Naval Academies.

The School also graduated vast array of distinguished Bureaucrats, Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Police Officers, Business Executives and many more various fields.

The School is celebrating Years 2010-2011 as Golden Jubilee Year.
